Posted by Sinks on 27th Jun 2017

The growing importance of eco-friendly issues has prompted manufacturers and designers to create a new range of stylish, green products like kitchen cabinetry, it has been observed.A post on the Pure Contemporary blog suggests that one of the top trends in todays eco-friendly kitchens are American-made cabinets which combine recycled materials like glass and wood with the sleek looks of European-style cabinetry.Referring to products created by the kitchen design firm Bazzeo, it noted that come of the cabinets are made from 100 per cent recycled and recovered wood fibre particleboard, a certified Environmentally Preferable Product, while a water-based, no-added urea-formaldehyde resin ensures the material is durable and protected from spills. The cabinets are also covered with a reconstituted wood veneer in various colours like oak, rosewood, teak and walnut before being finished with a water-based, non-toxic stain or sealer, the blog noted.According to a recent article in the Montgomery Advertiser, a couple was able to make their home more suitable for cooking tasks and family gatherings by opening up the kitchen sink area.ADNFCR-1321-ID-19798616-ADNFCR
