Keeping a kitchen organised is simple but important

By Francis Finch Maintaining order in the kitchen can be done easily and at a low cost, it has been suggested. According to Jenny Wagner, writing for Examiner.com, keeping a kitchen well organised will make items much simpler to find than stuffing all odds and ends into one junk drawer. Furthermore, solutions do not have to come at a price, with many ideas that reduce clutter being inexpensive, she noted. A cutlery tray can help organise your kitchen drawers and keep things separate and easy to find, Ms Wagner stated, adding that people should avoid buying a built-in organiser as this can be costly. Having a cleaning sponge in food preparation areas, which could include the kitchen sink, can often be unsightly, she added, so hiding them away in pottery bowls and ornate soap dishes may be a better option. The Philadelphia Inquirer recently reported designer Elin Kiefers advice to free up space around the kitchen sink as it is important for food preparation.
