KBB LDN is the capitals only trade exhibition solely dedicated to kitchens, bedroom and bathrooms. Every year the show holds an innovation awards ceremony, celebrating those new ideas that could revolutionise their industry. The awards are broken down into the judges choice award, the visitors choice award and the peoples choice award. As always, this year saw some brilliant innovative designs, but these three were the cream of the crop. Judges Choice Award: This year everything just clicked for lucky judges award winners HPP Ltd. Their product, The ClicBox, earned the award for its easy installation design, with all parts simply clicking together, removing the necessity for tools and these pesky screws we always lose! This new process can make installation up to five times faster than the traditional method, and is also stronger and without any visible fittings. Visitors Choice Awards: Roca managed to scoop up the visitors choice award at this years exhibition, winning it with their In-Tank Meridian. The In-Tank Meridian is a toilet system which incorporates the cistern into its interior. This eliminates the need for a concealed cistern, which works both practically and visually, slimming the design and saving space. This makes installing the Meridian system easier and also makes it perfect for smaller bathrooms and cloakrooms. Peoples Choice Awards: The peoples choice award was handed to the item with the most Facebook likes, and that was The Rodi Art Sink from Rodi Sinks and Ideas. The sink was designed to be multifunctional and hold 5 useful and versatile accessories: glass chopping board, stainless steel dish drainer, stainless steel glass drainer, stainless steel multifunctional drainer and stainless steel strainer, all permitting the user to perform several tasks in one are of the kitchen. Martin Allen-Smith, one of the judges and Editor of Designer Kitchens and Bathrooms Magazine, said: "The quality of products entered this year was very high, making the judges decision a very tough one, the ClicBox won the judges vote as it demonstrated a high level of innovation and ingenuity. Its a simple, yet brilliant design that has the potential to genuinely revolutionise kitchen installation by making the process so much quicker and easier without compromising build quality. It was the stand-out product from what was a very strong selection overall."
