Giving careful consideration to budgeting can keep a kitchen refit project from turning into a financial nightmare, according to one news channel.Home and Garden Television (HGTV) says homeowners should first conduct a thorough and honest examination of their finances to find out how much they can afford to spend. Everett Collier, president of the National Association of the Remodelling Industry told the news provider If a person is going to stay in a home for five years or less then the improvements should be viewed as improvements on investment. He added those planning on staying longer should look at what is going to make their family the most comfortable.
