Homeowners are looking to install kitchens that have the wow factor, Essential Kitchen Bathroom Bedroom magazine has said.Ronnie Whelan, the publications editor, noted that celebrity chefs have had a huge influence in making people want to entertain friends by cooking at home.Having a kitchen where you can show off your cooking skills in a kitchen design with the wow factor is top of everyones list, she said.Ms Whelan added that many people will begin planning their new kitchen in the New Year as it will take some time to do research on new cabinetry and appliances. This could include shopping around for new fixtures like kitchen sinks and taps.It is a big investment and you dont want to get it wrong, added Ms Whelan.According to Kitchens International, homeowners will aim to mix and match styles to create a highly individual and bespoke look for their kitchens in 2011.
