Home show offers tips on kitchen extensions

Posted by Sinks on 27th Jun 2017

Homeowners thinking of taking advantage of the relaxed restrictions on building extensions and building a brand new kitchen may find information at a show next week. The National Home Improvement Show, presented by Move or Improve magazine, will be held at Londons Earls Court from October 2nd to 4th. According to the organisers, it will be the UKs biggest event for people looking to add space and value to their home, with a particular emphasis on extensions and loft conversions. The majority of property owners will not have to apply for planning permission to extend their homes from October 1st meaning that dream kitchen may be easier to achieve. While there are a number of sinks available for a small kitchen, homeowners that wish to make the most of their new space may want to make a feature out of a large sink. A sleek and minimal design from the Franke kitchen sinks range, such as the Mythos MMX651, can bring a new kitchen up to date, or, for a more traditional look, try a white ceramic style from Astracast teamed with wooden work surfaces.
