Kitchens can often prove the most challenging area of home improvements, but a new training programme has been launched to help equip DIYers and aspiring plumbers with the requisite skills.New Train4TradeSkills courses have been launched with a flexible format to allow people to achieve plumbing qualifications in their own time and while studying from home where they can test their new skills on sink and tap installations.Train4TradeSkills marketing director Mike Head said Over a third of school leavers opt not to continue with formal education at a college or university.Courses such as ours provide students with the chance to study skills in their own time, at home, and at their own pace, as well as accommodating older plumbing students who may well want to study around existing job commitments. While for some plumbing is a career choice, for others a mastery of the basic skills is a major stepping stone in order to take on DIY projects in the kitchen, for which expert advice is often recommended.Kitchen sink specialist Franke has recently released a new product, the G-Clip, a clamp that will help professionals and DIYers to install undermount sinks such as the Ariane ARX110 17 half bowl model with greater ease.
