Hells Kitchen video game due for September release

A video game version of television cooking programme Hells Kitchen is due for release this September.According to producers Ubisoft, the game will remain faithful to the reality show, which stars Scottish chef Gordon Ramsay.Hells Kitchen The Video Game takes players through the phases of preparing, cooking and serving up a meal, under the guidance of the television personality.There are two modes to give budding chefs a taste of the action career mode in which players start with a one star restaurant with the aim of achieving five stars, and arcade where gamers come under increasing pressure from the chef and customers.Progression through the game will be rewarded with recipes from Mr Ramsays own repertoire, which players can try out for real in their own kitchens.The game will be available on Nintendo Wii and DS and PC.After giving up a promising football career at the age of 18, Mr Ramsay returned to college to study hotel management.In October 1993 he became chef of the newly opened Aubergine, where he won many accolades including two Michelin stars within three years of opening.
