Linda Huffman, interior designer, noted that simple measures such as this are important for maximising the appearance of a room, especially in less-sizable apartments, News-Press Gazette reports. Apartments are kind of hard sometimes basically because you cant do a lot of things you can do to your own home to make them bigger, Ms Huffman stated. Putting up wall-mounted racks for cooking paraphernalia such as pots and pans could help some individuals, she added. People were also advised that for a square-sized room installing a moveable kitchen island can free up shelving areas for other uses.
