Frankes new Sinos sink range puts emphasis on curves

Leading sink manufacturer Franke has responded to the growing trend for softer lines in sink design by producing its new Sinos range. At the top end of the extensive Franke range, the new Sinos sinks herald a departure from linear styling, with curves representing are a key feature. However, the Sinos range has the versatility to complement many kitchen styles with its easy living design and impeccable quality. The range was launched at the beginning of April, together with a number of new sink, tap and cooker hood products. Sinos features stylish curved corners on the sink footprint as well as the bowl and drainer detail. The design creates shapes reminiscent of retro style classics whilst still meeting modern aspirations for pure design. Produced from premium grade stainless steel in Silk finish, the Sinos range includes three models - two 1.5 bowl options, fitting a 600mm cabinet, with the option to have the half bowl to the left or the right of the main bowl depending on whether you are left or right handed, plus a single bowl option fitting into a more compact 400mm cabinet. One notable design feature of this range is that the drainer board is angled not only towards the bowl but also backwards, allowing water to flow away easily. Sinos accessories include a sanitised-treated chopping board for hygienic food preparation and a stainless steel strainer bowl. The patented Franke Rollamat is also compatible with this range. Marketing Manager Steve Rutter says Sinos is an example of how the trend towards softer minimalism is influencing sink design now. Its a contemporary classic, a sink style thats very easy to live with, paying homage to current design trends but one that will not easily date either. It gives retailers a new design story to engage customers with. See the new Franke Sinos sinks and tap range.
