Franke Sissons Managing Director Andy Dukelow has been picked as the new East Midlands Apprenticeship Champion. Andy scooped the title in the regional final of the National Apprenticeship Awards and National Training Awards 2012. The winners were announced at a ceremony staged by the National Apprenticeship Service at the Pera Conference Centre, in Leicestershire, last month. Andy first began as an apprentice himself at Franke Sissons, which is part of the international Franke Group. Andy said Its wonderful weve been recognised but the real thanks goes to our apprentices for their enthusiasm and commitment. Encouraging youngsters in vocational paid training is important. Im delighted to be championing the apprenticeships regionally. Franke Sissons has apprentices in mechanical engineering, sales support, fabrication and welding and design.
