A new Franke kitchen tap has been announced and it has been described as elegantly curved.The Franke kitchen tap - called Basel - has rounded lever handles and a curved spout in order to complement a variety of kitchens, the company claimed.Rather than being an ordinary kitchen tap, Frankes latest offering uses high-end technology.In order to prevent splashes, the nozzle has a built-in perlator, which softens the flow into a luxurious cascade, Franke said about its kitchen tap.Available in a SilkSteel or chrome finish, the tap could provide an updated twist to a kitchen.Commenting on its new kitchen tap, Franke stated that the high-curved spout makes it easy for you to get large pans underneath and the curved base and smooth lever style handles provides easy operation, even when you have wet hands.It was recently reported by the Economist that chrome kitchen taps are durable, resist corrosion and can be polished to a high shine.
