Recent surveys have highlighted an increasing interest in cookery from all members of the family, making Frankes one-and-a-half bowl sink philosophy an attractive one.Launching its MTX 661 sink as part of the Specialist Mythos range, Franke recently pointed to the growing importance of cooking as a family activity, claiming that sinks needed to expand to allow more room for the swelling ranks of master-chefs.The kitchen manufacturer said that a one-and-a-half bowl arrangement could prove popular in the preparation of big meals, with the smaller second bowl remaining accessible for smaller tasks while the main bowl was in use.Franke said No more reaching over the pot washer to strain the vegetables, this model is an excellent ergonomic choice, especially for kitchens that dont have room for an additional prep sink elsewhere. But the advantages of the MTX 661 are not limited to its dual bowl design the model is still compact enough to fit into a 600mm cabinet, as well as offering users a stylish silk finish that will not be difficult to maintain.A slide-and-glide glass food preparation platter and stainless steel strainer bowl are also elements of the MTX model, making it a potentially popular one with culinary connoisseurs.
