Frameless cabinets and inlays are proving to be popular choices among individuals looking to renovate their kitchens, it has been claimed.Speaking to the Kansas Star, Bob Gillpatrick, owner of Gillpatrick Woodworks, described some of the techniques he enjoys when making cupboards.The woodwork expert also explained that one of the recent trends in kitchen cabinetry is for frameless cupboards.Mr Gillpatrick explains that this is particularly popular due to the fact that the products offer 20 per cent more storage space, while the reduced amount of materials used often makes them less expensive.The specialist also suggested using different types of timber together, such as maple, cherry and walnut for a unique finish.Meanwhile, Gabrielle Bliss, founder and managing director of BlissHome, recently claimed that fashion is increasingly influencing accessories in the kitchen and throughout the home.She said that homeowners are much savvier these days when it comes to fashion and have more of an awareness of the leading designers.
