A new ergonomic kitchen system has been released, promising users a layout exclusively tailored to their needs.German-based design firm Alno has unveiled its Kitchen of the Future system, comparing it to a German precision automobile and opting for unusual design alternatives in order to be as space-efficient as possible. Alno claims to have based its design schemes around the typical work triangle of the sink, fridge and oven, paying due respect to the importance of a stylish modern sink such as the Franke undermount Rotondo RUG110 as a kitchen centrepiece. And around the triangle, the Kitchen of the Future system offers cabinets with limitless fittings for endless organisation, an infinite color palette and little details.Tailoring cabinets to individual requirements, the Alno cabinet scheme offers a choice of handles and knobs and even allows homeowners to specify whether cabinet doors should open in traditional form or automatically when gently tapped. Catering to a range of kitchen dimensions, the new range also offers extra wide drawers and extra high wall units, looking to provide storage solutions that make the most of available space but keep the kitchen looking sleek.
