Electrolux will showcase four of its new technologies at this years Grand Designs Live London event.These new appliances could perfectly complement homeowners kitchen sinks and have been designed by some of the UKs best industrial design students for a new competition, reports PlumbingPark.co.uk.There were 1,300 entries to Electroluxs contest, with The Snail eventually winning the number one spot. Conceived by Peter Alwin, it is a micro-induction appliance that can be installed in pots, pans and mugs to efficiently heat liquids.Londons Grand Designs event will also feature the Electrolux Clean Closet laundry system, as well as an Eco Cleaner, which is a portable dishwasher that helps to reduce kitchen waste. In addition, the Electrolux External Refrigerator will be showcased.People who are considering renovating their kitchens will also be able to choose from a selection of new plumbing kits from Franke, according to the World Interior Design Network.The companys Siphon I and Siphon II have been engineered to enable an accelerated disposal of water.
