Earth should expect ecological credit crunch

A leading environmental organisation has warned of a potential crisis facing the planet, likening it to the current financial upheaval enveloping the world economy.In the WWFs Living Planet report, the body warns that humanitys consumption of natural resources now outweighs the planets ability to regenerate itself by 30 per cent.The charity argues that if this pattern of over-consumption continues for the next 20-30 years, our species will need the equivalent of two planets to support itself instead of one.There are ways in which kitchen users can limit their negative environmental impact.
