A report for the Times has claimed that using E-Cloths remains the best way to clean a kitchen, including steel sinks and taps. Richard Ehrlich says that there are a number of new kitchen cleaning products entering the market many at which are aimed at being more environmentally-friendly.He cites two particular products Method and Aquo but raises concerns about the effectiveness of them on tough stains. When I used them on a stainless-steel sink bearing varying quantities of well-entrenched grease, they dealt with light grease passably well, he wrote.With moderate grease, they struggled. With the heavy stuff, they failed. He said, however that a third product the E-Cloth was a success when he used it on grease marks on his stainless steel sink.According to Mr Ehrlich, the cloths contain microfibre technology which allows for kitchen sinks and counters to be cleaned without using chemicals or spray bottles. The more I use them, the more convinced I am kitchens need nothing more than a couple of E-Cloths, water and ordinary washing-up liquid, he said.
