Dyson wants compact kitchens

Posted by Sinks on 27th Jun 2017

James Dyson has claimed that the kitchen can become more compact and space can be saved. The inventor, famed for his creation of the bagless vacuum cleaner, has filed a patent application for a kitchen design that could revolutionise the room.It involves an intricate design of accessories and appliances that complement each other and leave more space. At the moment, Dyson and his colleagues Peter Gammack and David Campbell believe that gadgets such as coffee makers, toasters, kettles and juicers are all inefficient in their design, the New Scientist reports.Due to their various different shapes and sizes, these appliances cannot be closely packed together on the counter, resulting in an amount of wasted counter space between the appliances which cant be used for other purposes, such as food preparation, the Dyson team stated. In their application, Dyson is proposing tall, cuboid-shaped appliances that will save space and make for an interesting look in the kitchen. The firm is based in Malmesbury in Wiltshire.ADNFCR-1321-ID-19147269-ADNFCR
