A Portsmouth University student is to see three of his kitchen accessories go on sale this year, the Echo newspaper has reported.Adam Clark, who has recently graduated, spent two years at houseware company Salter, which will now manufacture his two kitchen scales designs one with a built-in mixing bowl and the other with a chopping board and a universal knife sharpener commissioned by the company. Mr Clark commented to the newspaper about kitchen design, stating innovative designs need to be created by changing ideas. I love the constant evolution of ideas involved in designing something new to meet a need or fill a gap in the market, he said. He is looking for a job in the kitchen design industry at present, the paper said, which may mean a future applying his ideas to sinks and taps. In related news, the September issue of Kitchens, Bedrooms and Bathrooms magazine features cutting-edge kitchen designs.
