Posted by Sinks on 27th Jun 2017

When picking the ideal type of sink for your kitchen, bear in mind that you have a variety of mounting styles to choose from.Apron sinks, also known as farmhouse sinks, can add a period feel to your kitchen. Apron sinks are designed to be larger and deeper than ordinary sinks with the front side jutting out beyond the cabinet below. Some designers also opt for the apron style when designing stainless steel sinks to provide a fresh and modern look.Undermount sinks provide you with a seamless transition from sink to work top. Many choose this type of rimless sink for its sleek look and ease of maintenance. Inset (drop-in) sinks are the most common and the easiest to install. Also known as top mount and self rimming sinks, they have a rim or a moulded edge which easily holds the worktop when fitted. They can simply be dropped in to a pre-cut hole in your chosen work top.
