Posted by Sinks on 27th Jun 2017

A homeowner has created a comfortable and inviting kitchen by decorating the room with unique collections.Willa Boze showed the Baltimore Sun around her country home for the newspapers Dream Home feature, saying that she particularly enjoyed making use of decorative wall hangings throughout the house, which include 12 mahogany framed porcelain plates featuring hand-painted flowers, one for each month of the year. From their spot over oak cabinets, they provide warmth in a country kitchen setting, as do tiny shadow boxes filled with collectible spoons and thimbles, noted the newspaper.Ms Boze has achieved a rustic feel in the kitchen area by retaining original ceiling beams and installing cherry wood and oak furniture. Interior designer Mark Wilkinson recently told the National that small changes such as replacing the kitchen sink or taps could also add a traditional, aged feel to an otherwise modern room.ADNFCR-1321-ID-19537417-ADNFCR
