Cleaning kitchen sink the natural way

Posted by Sinks on 27th Jun 2017

When it comes to cleaning the kitchen sink, Darlene Rose is a natural. After suffering problems from the high levels of mercury in the fillings in her teeth, the West Virginia woman began to transform her entire world into a healthier place to live. She discovered essential oils and more natural ways to clean, and now would not dream of cleaning her kitchen with anything that is not 100 per cent natural. She said I learned the oils that I was using in aromatherapy had other properties. Tea tree oil is an antifungal, good to get rid of mold. Peppermint oil is antibacterial. Darlene, who has now set up the Smelling Like a Rose cleaning company, uses hydrogen peroxide combined with baking soda to clean pots and pans as well as other tough stains. She combines a little water with baking soda to make a soft scrub-type cleaner for sinks and taps. Sometimes it takes a bit more physical work but its worth it, said Darlene.
