By Neil WatermanIndividuals looking to make the most of the space they have available in the kitchen have a number of options when updating the room.Saving space is high on the agenda in kitchen design at the moment, the Times claims, and to make the most of what room is available, innovative ideas can be implemented at the kitchen sink.One designer, Mark Holloway, told the Times of a new design which aims to restore the clean lines to a countertop by hiding the kitchen sink.By pushing the mixer taps spout down and sliding over two Corian panels, the kitchen sink all but disappears, he said, adding that this helps to restore clean lines and give extra work surface.Another popular option for creating clean lines around sinks is to fit an undermount kitchen sink, so that the run of the worktop is not broken.Indeed, Daniel Dietz of DJ Dietz Designs recently told the Associated Press that one of the benefits of using a granite worktop is the ability to fit an undermount kitchen sink.
