Ceramic tiles a good option for counters

Those looking to update their kitchen countertops should consider purchasing ceramic tiles for the job, it has been claimed. Interiors expert Thomasan Adison noted that while many people often use the material for their bathrooms, it makes an equally good choice for work surfaces around the kitchen sink. He remarked Ceramic tile is perhaps the most suitable option for [countertops], as it is ideal give an upscale as well as artistic appearance to countertops.According to Mr Adison, the material is hard to scratch and stain, as well as being resistant to heat. It is fairly cheap to purchase and can be installed on most surfaces, such as cement, plywood and lightweight aggregators, he added. Homeowners were also advised that ceramic could be used for kitchen floors. Countertop specialist Peter Hibbert recently told the National Post that quartz is becoming an increasingly popular choice in kitchen countertops.
