Ceramic sinks used to be associated with the traditional deep set butler-style models often found in country house kitchens. But now an increasing range of manufacturers are constructing ceramic sinks in as wide a selection of style as might be expected in granite or modern composite materials.Design-lead sink manufacturer Carron Phoenix make a traditional butler sink the Belfast, which would make an elegant edition to any country kitchen. But their ceramic range also includes the Shonelle model, which is a modern two-bowl affair with a versatile drainer. Then theres the Waterford range, which offers standalone, undermount-fitted ceramic bowls which can then be fitted into a work surface, either on their own or as addition to another sink.Every ceramic sink is uniquely crafted in the traditional method, given the nature of the materials used and each one is both stylish and, if cared for properly, extremely durable.
