Brits hit by grow-your-own fever

Kitchens sinks across the UK could soon be used to wash home-grown vegetables are more and more people get involved in gardening.There is a strong grow-your-own fever at the moment, according to the All-In-One Garden Centre.The Manchester firm has reported increased sales of the equipment needed to grow vegetables.Rod Slater, managing director of the centre, says the trend began a year ago.He said People are buying into things like raised beds and potato sacks and anything to do with vegetables.They are just dipping their toes in the water of growing their own vegetables.People are looking for easy ways to grow on patios and in tubs due to limited space, he added.The Vegetable Trading Co is encouraging Brits to get growing, providing seed bundles, meal ideas and tips on how to grow the best produce.Different vegetables and herbs are recommended for different growing spaces, including gardens, balconies or apartments.ADNFCR-1321-ID-800468606-ADNFCR
