With many sinks offering double bowls or large bowl dimensions to provide useful extra washing up space, people have been urged to obtain suitably adaptable taps.The Kitchen Bathroom Bedroom Specialists Association claimed that kitchen sinks with large bowl dimensions were best accompanied by taps with special rinse capacities allowing a jet of water wherever needed around the bowl.Pull-out or pull-down spray rinse functions were recommended, with the Argenta and Nautilus models from Carron Phoenixs Pull-Out Spray range providing the tap flexibility in question.The Argenta boasts a 50cm long extending spray head which offers two water jets, with Carron Phoenix claiming the tap to be perfect for rinsing that double bowl sink.Alternatively, the minimalist Nautilus lever tap features a rotating head with the capacity to divert the water stream to either side of the bowl, which is complemented by a pull-out hose which allows for extensive rinsing.Sinks from top manufacturers provide many different bowl configurations, with some preferring a simple, single bowl format and others preferring a 1.5 bowl arrangement with the option of installing a sink waste disposal unit.
