Beloved kitchen gadget makes revival in the Midlands

A beloved kitchen gadget from the 1980s is making a revival at a store in the Midlands, it has been revealed.The SodaStream, a fizzy drinks maker which became a favourite with households across the country a couple of decades ago, has been relaunched by its makers at the John Lewis in Solihulls Touchwood shopping centre, Birmingham Mail.net reported.According to the newspaper, the product does not seem to have lost its appeal, with staff at the shop confirming that the SodaStream is already flying off the shelves.Matt Hattersley, kitchenware department manager at the store, said When we received our first delivery at the shop we had crowds of people surrounding the fixtures as we were putting it out on the shelves - its clearly very popular with a lot of people in Solihull.The news comes after it was revealed that an ingenious food waste disposer has been selected as one of the finalists in the Electrolux Design Lab 2010 competition.ADNFCR-1321-ID-19905777-ADNFCR
