Australian LED popularity may signal international change

The Australian environment ministers praise for domestic LED company BluGlass and its technology may lead to greater proliferation of the lighting style across the world and in the UK.LEDs Magazine.com reported that Peter Garrett, Australias federal minister for the environment, heritage and the arts, opened the new home of BluGlass at Silverwater, Sydney and told the audience that the technology fitted well with the countrys energy-efficient intentions.The website added that the company will use the factory to demonstrate substantial cost benefits to LED device manufacturers in hope of winning supplier contracts, royalty income and licensing deals.Mr Garrets told the audience that the benefits of this move were highly important.He said Changing your lighting is a quick, easy way to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and save on energy bills.
