The Kitchen/Bath Industry Show (K/BIS) will take place in Atlanta next month as planned.Organisers have confirmed that the latest sink and tap products will be showcased at the event, despite the withdrawal of some exhibiters.The National Kitchen and Bath Association (NKBA) has spoken out to confirm that the show will go ahead on May 1st to May 3rd.Don Sciolaro, chief executive, said Are there some exhibitors that have pulled out of K/BIS 2009? Yes. But contrary to recent misconceptions, the vast majority of the large exhibitors will be exhibiting at K/BIS again this year.Some 700 exhibitors are scheduled to take part in the event at the Georgia World Congress Centre, which will also include a conference programme.Issues up for debate included how to renovate kitchens in order to appeal to buyers in the challenging property market and the continuing impact of sustainable kitchen design.
