A clever concept by Ahhaproject lets you clean a sink full of dirty dinner plates at the press of a button.Fed up with the washing up and dont want to pack the dishwasher? Ahhaproject, a design studio, has invented Eco Automatic, a sink that doubles as a dishwasher. At the press of a button, a sink packed with dirty dishes turns 180 degrees, disappearing under the counter, while a second sink fill the gap. The first bowl now under the counter is now in dishwasher mode, rinsing plates, cutlery, pots and pans. While this is going on, you can fill the second sink with more dirty dishes. When the first sink wash cycle is finished, press the button, and the sink bowls turn around again, allowing you to empty the clean items in the first sink and triggering the dish washing cycle all over again in the second bowl.Its a great idea for people who dont have enough room for a dishwasher, dont like loading dishwashers and best of all, dont like cleaning the sink.Just a concept at the moment, the Eco Automatic has caught the eye of Swedish appliance giant Electrolux who have patented the design. Appearing in a kitchen near you sometime soon.
